Tom Holland has confirmed that he and Zendaya are married, bringing months of speculation to an end while revealing almost nothing about the ceremony itself.

The actor disclosed the news during a recent interview with Esquire UK. Asked whether his family had been misled by AI generated images that purported to show the couple’s wedding, Holland replied that they had not because they had all attended the real event. He declined to elaborate further, signalling that the couple intend to keep the details private.
The confirmation follows months of mounting speculation. In March, Zendaya’s longtime stylist and creative collaborator Law Roach appeared to reveal that the wedding had already taken place during a red carpet interview. At the time, neither actor commented publicly. Interest intensified as Zendaya was repeatedly photographed wearing a wedding band alongside the engagement ring she first debuted earlier this year. Holland’s remarks now settle the question without departing from the couple’s longstanding preference for privacy.
Holland and Zendaya first met while making Spider-Man: Homecoming, released in 2017. Their off screen relationship became public in 2021 after years of speculation. Since then, they have maintained an unusually restrained public profile despite being among Hollywood’s most recognisable young stars.
Both actors are entering a particularly significant period in their careers. They reunite on screen this summer in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the latest instalment in the Marvel franchise that has shaped much of their public image. They also appear together in Christopher Nolan’s forthcoming adaptation of The Odyssey, one of the director’s most ambitious productions to date.
Zendaya continues to balance blockbuster filmmaking with prestige projects. In recent years she has starred in Challengers, Dune: Part Two and the HBO drama Euphoria, performances that have reinforced her position as one of the defining actors of her generation. Her influence has also extended beyond film through longstanding collaborations with fashion houses and stylist Law Roach, making her a consistent presence at major cultural events.
Holland, meanwhile, has broadened his work beyond Marvel with projects including The Crowded Room and the forthcoming American epic The Odyssey. Even as he expands his filmography, Spider-Man remains the role most closely associated with his career.
The couple’s decision to confirm the marriage only in passing reflects a broader pattern. In an era when celebrity milestones are frequently transformed into carefully managed public spectacles, Holland and Zendaya have continued to draw a firm distinction between public work and private life. That restraint has become almost as defining as their on screen partnership, allowing professional achievement rather than personal disclosure to remain at the centre of their public narrative.
